Grouping Tab

The Grouping tab enables you to define groups of accounts/aliases that, when applied, sort and filter the data displayed on the Position Monitor’s Positions pane. By selecting which accounts/aliases are included in a group, you determine which position data you want to aggregate and display. See The Position Monitor topic for more information.

To create a new group

  1. Right-click the Position Monitor, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and the Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Grouping tab.

  3. Type the name of the group you want to create in the Groups field, click [New], and the group is added to the list box below.

  4. With the new group highlighted in the Groups list box, select the account/alias you want to add to the group from the Available Accounts/Aliases list box and then click (or simply double-click the account/alias) to move it to the adjacent list box (on the right). Repeat as necessary.

  5. When finished, click [OK].

To update an existing group

  1. Right-click the Position Monitor, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and the Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Grouping tab.

  3. Select the group you want to update from the Groups list box, and the accounts/aliases that have been assigned to the group appear in the list box on the right.

  4. You can:

  1. Add accounts/aliases to the group (one at a time) by selecting them from the Available Accounts/Aliases list box and clicking , or simply double-clicking the accounts/aliases.

  2. Remove accounts/aliases from the group (one at a time) by selecting them from the list box on the right (one at a time) and clicking , or simply double-clicking the accounts/aliases.

  1. When finished, click [OK].

To delete a group

  1. Right-click the Position Monitor, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and the Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Grouping tab.

  3. Select the group you want to delete from the Groups list box, and click [Delete].

  4. When finished, click [OK].
