On Balance Volume Moving Average

The On Balance Volume Moving Average Indicator is represented as a line on the Volume Chart. Volume The number of shares or contracts traded in a security or an entire market during a given period. is added to the On Balance Volume Moving Average calculation when the security/index closes up (+ Change), and is subtracted when the security/index closes down (- Change). The resulting line can be compared with the Price Chart to look for divergences or confirmation.

Indicator Properties

Periods	The number of rolling periods [e.g., Historical (days), Intra-day (minutes, hours, etc.)] considered in the average calculation. The default value is 10.
