You can allocate shares from single or multiple order executions and/or Doneaways to an account or accounts through the Average Price, Doneaway, Exec/DAway, Execution, and Ticket views; when you select multiple executions to be allocated, shares are allocated based on the average price.
Various entitlements determine how allocation data is displayed and how you can allocate shares:
Combine Execution and Doneaway – Execution and Doneaway shares with the same Symbol, Side, and Account are combined in the Allocations dialog box and can be allocated in a single transaction.
Multi-user allocation – allows Supervisors to select and allocate the shares of supervised users. Rows with the same Symbol, Side, and Account are combined in the Allocations dialog box and can be allocated in a single transaction.
Multi-Avg Price allocation – allows you to modify the average price associated with allocated shares, provided that you selected multiple rows with the same Symbol, Side, and Account, but different execution prices, and that the modified prices remain within the range of the original execution prices; for example, if you selected rows with executions with prices of $10.50 and $10.54, the modified AvgPrice values must stay within that range. The Allocations dialog automatically adjusts the AvgPrice of the Remaining shares as you process your allocations.
You can also create and edit Allocation Templates to make the allocation process easier; see the Allocation template topics under the Average Price View, the Doneaway View, the Exec/DAway View, Execution View, or the Tickets View for more information.
