The Message Monitor enables you to view all relevant information pertaining to orders submitted/executed through or captured in REDIPlus. There are six different Message Monitor views:

Avg Price

Doneaway

Exec/DAway

Execution

Message

Order

Ticket

 

The ability to view Avg Price, Doneaway , Exec/DAway, Execution, Message, Order, and Ticket information pertaining to orders submitted/executed through or captured in REDIPlus makes the Message Monitor useful for managing open and executed orders. Select the Message Monitor icon from the REDIPlus Application bar, and then select the Message Monitor view based on information you want to see and the tasks you want to perform.

Message Monitor Components

Regardless of the view selected, the default Message Monitor is made up of the following components:

Title Bar

Toolbar

Column Headers

Messages Pane

Message Details (Summary)

Quick Update Bar

Additional Message Monitor Component

The following components can be added to the Message Monitor by selecting the corresponding checkbox under the View category of the Properties dialog box’s Settings tab; see the Message Monitor Settings and To add or remove Message Monitor components topics for more information.

To add or remove Message Monitor components

You can add or remove the Title Bar, Toolbar, Total Bar, or the Quick Update Bar to/from your Message Monitor views.

  1. Select the Message Monitor icon from the REDIPlus Application bar, and the Message Monitor appears.

  2. Right-click in the Message Monitor, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and the Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Settings tab, and select or clear the appropriate checkboxes from the View category. See the Message Monitor Settings topic for more information.

  4. When finished, click [OK].
