Quote Monitor

The Quote Monitor displays real-time, dynamic quotes and Level 1 Real-time bid/ask quotes for securities trading on the NASDAQ stock market and comparable information for securities quoted in the OTC Bulletin Board Service. information corresponding to the symbols that you enter, and real-time, dynamic Foreign Exchange (F/X) rates for the currency pairs selected on the Properties dialog box’s Watch tab and the value dates selected from the Toolbar’s Value Date drop-down list box. With this information, you can monitor the performance of securities and currencies, evaluate whether you want to Buy or Sell securities or currency pairs, and compare securities in similar categories (e.g., industrial, performance, etc.).

There are three Position Monitor views:

Additional Quote Monitor Component

The following component can be added to the Quote Monitor by selecting the corresponding checkbox under the View category of the Properties dialog box’s Settings tab; see the Quote Monitor Settings and To add or remove Quote Monitor components topics for more information.

Smart Action bar

To add or remove Quote Monitor components

You can add or remove the Toolbar, Title bar, Smart Action bar, Status bar, and/or any HotKey bar to/from the Quote Monitor.

Select the Quote Monitor icon from the REDIPlus Application bar, and the Quote Monitor appears.
Right-click the Quote Monitor, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and the Properties dialog box appears.
Click the Settings tab, and select or clear the appropriate checkboxes from the View category; see the Quote Monitor Settings topic for more information.
When finished, click [OK].
